THE STORY:
My first experience with a Hammond Organ was learning to play my sister's Hammond S6 Chord Organ when I was around 5 years old. 'Sis' eventually moved out and took the S6 so my parents purchased an S-112 Chord Organ for me to play. A few years later, I decided to take the big leap to two manuals and I purchased a Hammond T-412 and later added a Leslie 825.
I hooked up with McCray's Hammond Organ Studios of Janesville (Wisconsin) and started demonstrating Hammonds during the local county fairs, doing on-air commercials for the studio, demonstrating and making a few sales. As we all know, the home organ market "fizzled" and McCray's retired, closing the studio.
Enter 1991. Got the Hammond "itch" and acquired a Hammond/Suzuki® Super SX2000 and added a Leslie. Well, that "itch" turned into a full-blown case of HAS/LAS and I started "acquiring"...
Today, the kids have moved out and "Me and the Missus" decided to downsize. We accepted an offer on our home so unfortunately, the "Hammond Herd" has to go...
Since these have all been acquired over time and the economy is currently less than favorable, I realize the value is most likely less than what I paid when purchased. But, they have to go! Some instruments will need some work and everything is sold AS IS.
Prefer local pickup only. I have ROK's, you provide the muscle (they are ground level with no steps). Shipping may be an option if buyer makes all arrangements and payment clears before pickup by shipper. (USA buyers only - sorry, no international buyers.)
Instruments are located near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (USA), about an hour away from Milwaukee, Madison or Chicago, Illinois.
Serious inquiries only please. Buy one, two or the entire "herd". I do not wish to separate Hammonds from Leslie's with the possible exception of the T-412/Leslie 825 and the SX2000/Leslie 914.
ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED.
(Unless otherwise marked, everything is still available as of January 2020.)
